Silky Source School was founded by Ryan Burns, a sister entity to the Silky Sources chain. Burns initially established the Silky Sources chain in 2018 with the launch of Silky Source Salon. Three years later, she introduced Silky Sources Supplies. Today, we introduce her latest venture, Silky Source School. As she quotes, "My goal is to invigorate the cosmetology industry by inspiring enthusiastic minds." Given her passion for the cosmetology industry and community, Burns created a comprehensive program designed to engage students throughout their cosmetology education. Burns, a 2008 graduate of Dudley Beauty College, has accumulated extensive experience working in various salons as an independent contractor and commission-based stylist. In 2018, she attended Christana and Co. Education Center, where she earned her cosmetology educator's license through the Department of Professional Regulation. Her ultimate objective is to foster young entrepreneurs. To achieve this, her program offers flexible payment plans, allowing students to bypass loans and maintain flexible schedules.
